You will be amazed at the amount of parks that help to make this a vibrant community!
I'm a nature lover myself, and it's such a great joy to know that Burlington KY offers many different parks and park activities to help make our escape back to nature a wonderful, centering experience. I remember as a child growing up, my family often visited parks throughout the many seasons. In winter, we enjoyed sled riding and crashing into the fresh, white snow, skating as fast as we could, and warming ourselves around fires with the hot chocolate and marshmallows my mom would be sure to bring. The fall was my favorite season and I often collected the different leaves for the required school projects, enjoying the crunching sound under my feet as I hiked happily along. The Spring delivered new growth and a variety of plants to see and enjoy, while the summer was great for the picnics and those awesome swingsets where you could spin yourself around and around to experience the thrill of letting go and twirling for what seemed an eternity!
So here's to a breath of fresh air and childlike spirt to get out there and enjoy the many beautiful parks that Burlington KY has to offer........

Boone Cliffs is located at 4990 MIddle Creek Rd, about 13 miles due west of the Florence Mall. Just follow Rt 18 West, almost reaching the river, but instead, turn L on MIddle Creek Rd. Boone Cliffs has 74 acres that features many unique cliff formations that are 20-40 foot high. Therefore, for the hiking enthusiast, you'll find 2.4 miles of moderate to difficult paths to enhance your hiking experience.

As with a lot of Burlington Parks, this park is closed during the deer hunting/gun season.
Camp Ernst Lake is located at 7915 Camp Ernst Rd and contains approx. 22 acres. This park is noted for its fishing lake, which is regularly stocked with catfish and bluegill. There's even a handicapped accessible fishing pier and a wonderful area to walk around the entire, picturesque lake. Complete with a boat launch area, fisherman will enjoy trolling on the lake or just enjoying the fishing directly from their boat. With small shelters located around the lake, this would be a great place to come and view the sparkling lake and blue of the wide open sky.
Conservancy Park Belleview is located at 5820 Burlington Pike and is located due west of Florence Mall, about 13 miles on KY 18 West.
